Applications for Grants and Scholarships will open 25 September 2024 and will close 25 November 2024, and the trustees encourage all aspiring New Zealand ice hockey players between the ages of 16 and 22 to apply. Applications will be evaluated on the following criteria and all applicants will be informed of the outcome by 1 December 2024. Awards will be presented on the evening of December 14 2024 and the Dale Harrop Foundation Event and paid directly to the respective Governing Body for fees associated with participation on proof of making the team or squad.

The Dale Harrop Foundation is thrilled to announce we will be providing $10,000 in grants to athletes in 2025. 

We are pleased to be in a position to support the community Dale was so proud of and look forward to seeing the funds go to great use.

To be eligible to apply for support athletes must be:

• Living in New Zealand.

• Be available for selection into National or regional ice hockey teams or squads.

• Be between the ages of 16-24.

The Foundation will prioritise making grants to athletes that demonstrate they are considered as someone with the potential to represent New Zealand Ice Hockey at a higher level and be a role model to others.
